How Will I Know When My Horse Is Running ?
Racing plans will develop as the horse’s career progresses, partners will be kept fully informed of short term and long-term strategies and running plans.

How Long Will The Horse Race ?
We expect the horse to be running as a two and three year old. The horse will be under constant review with a view to maximising it’s potential.

What Happens At The End Of The Term ?
At the end of the term the horse will be sold and the proceeds divided in accordance with the partnership agreement.

Can The Horse Race In My Colours ?
The horse will normally race in the colours of Four Legs Racing South Africa. With the full agreement of all partners, the horse can race in the colours of a member of the partnership, provided the member registers his own colours with the South African racing authorities and subject to the local rules and regulations.

Can I Name The Horse ?
If the horse does not already have a name, the partners will agree on a suitable name, each partner will have an input and provided there is agreement and the name is available, we will use that name.

Shapes partnerships in a way that best meets everyone’s needs.

Owning a racehorse as a sole owner is too great an expense for many people. The concept of partnerships makes eminent sense: share the risk, at lower cost. Unfortunately the larger syndicate experience often fails to deliver the right amount of enjoyment for the investment incurred. This is why we set up Four Legs Racing, with a clear aim of bringing partners together to share the costs, risks and thrill of owning a Thoroughbred Racehorse.
